Hi, I'm Matt!

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Reno-Tahoe, Nevada. It's an honor to capture weddings and portraits — these photos often become cherished heirlooms.

My photographic style sits somewhere between "documentary" and "editorial" — capturing the subject authentically and unobtrusively (but on a deeper, more thoughtful level than pure photojournalism), while also directing the subject to tell a compelling visual story.

I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember — from making short films as a kid with old-school camcorders, to getting my first "professional camera" in 2007.
